Troy Lee Designs D4 Carbon Helmet
The Daytona series of helmets have always set the standard for technology, safety, and artistic design, and the all-new D4 Carbon ups the game even further. Using TeXtreme Spread Tow carbon fiber reinforcements in the shell, the new D4 Carbon has dropped almost 50 grams without sacrificing any of the strength of the previous model. At 1000g claimed weight, this is one of the lightest and most refined full-face helmets we've ever seen. Despite the trimmed down weight, Troy Lee was able to beef up the helmet's protection system by adding EPS impact foam in strategic areas to increase strength and durability. Integrated MIPS helps to reduce rotational motion transferred to the brain from angled impacts to the head, and there's now an EPP collarbone protection system to reduce the forces transferred to this sensitive area in the event of a crash. The new D4 is rounded out with lightweight titanium D-ring adjustments, and quick release XT2 3D cheek pads and X-Static washable liner.

Troy Lee Designs D3 Carbon MIPS Helmet
Going big occasionally means crashing big, so instead of tucking a lucky rabbit's foot into your pocket before dropping in, don the Troy Lee Designs D3 Carbon MIPS Helmet. It's at the top of the heap when it comes to fit, comfort, and resisting impact, with a super-adjustable incremental sizing system that makes it possible to dial in fit that's far more comfortable than you can get with a traditional dial adjustment. In addition to the lightweight carbon-composite shell, the MIPS system takes the sting out of rotational impacts for those inevitable times that see you bounce down a tranny onto your noggin. The shape of the D3 isn't radically different than the D2, but it does pack a little bit more foam into key areas and tweaks the cheek and jaw pads to provide a snugger, more comfortable fit. Dual-density shock pads around the shell absorb smaller impacts, but the sweetest feature might be the removable washable liner, made with washable Coolmax and Dri-Max materials that keep your dome cool, dry, and smelling like a daisy. 20 vents take the cooling up a notch or four, and the adjustable visor can be swapped out with the included second option for a different look.

POC Coron Air Carbon Spin Helmet
Shaving excess weight while remaining incredibly strong during the event of a catastrophic crash, the POC Coron Air Carbon Spin Helmet features a lightweight carbon fiber shell with an EPP foam liner that's good for multiple impacts. This means you won't have to replace your full face helmet after taking a small digger in the bike park or flying off a boardwalk while stepping to North Shore-style obstacles in the woods. Not only is it incredibly lightweight and strong, but it's well-ventilated with mesh-lined channels throughout that circulate airflow to prevent overheating on those hot summer days. Best of all, it's packing POC's newest Spin rotational impact protection system, which allows the helmet to rotate independently around your noggin during an angled impact with the ground, subsequently reducing rotational forces transmitted through the helmet. If you do crash really badly, there's even cheek pads that can be easily taken out in the case of an emergency, as to mitigate damage to an already hurt neck from wrenching off the helmet. Other useful features include a breakaway visor for a bit more safety during a crash, as well as seamless integration with POC's newest Ora mountain bike goggle.

Kask CPSC Infinity Bike Helmet, Black/Lime, Large
Together with the Pro team 'sky', Kask have developed a groundbreaking performance road helmet that is fully vented & fully aero. The fully rounded profile ensures that no sharp edges or angles interfere with the airflow. The vents are quickly and easily opened or closed by adjusting the mobile Aerator situated on the top of the helmet. Simply move your hand briefly over the tacky gummy coated Aerator to open or close the vents, as required. The vents can also be partially opened or closed to deliver a regulated amount of ventilation as dictated by the rider or conditions. Combined with the Kask "in molding" and mit technology, the infinity offers tremendous shock absorption in an accident. 3D dry padding and Coolmax interior allows breathability, making sure to keep your head comfortable and dry, while protecting it from the dangers of the road.

POC Cerebel Raceday Helmet
We'll be the first to admit that, over the course of long time trials or triathlon rides, we don't maintain an ideal TT position. This isn't just the rider's fault though, as our yaw angle also changes based on wind conditions, turns in the course, changes in gradients--in short, the dynamic conditions that we experience on every ride outside of a wind tunnel. That's why POC--in collaboration with its in-house WATTS lab and the engineers at Volvo--developed the Cerebel Raceday Helmet. The Cerebel isn't designed as a straight-on aerodynamic lid like the Tempor that debuted years ago on riders like Emilia Fahlin; rather, it's a take-all-comers approach to dodging the wind. POC and Volvo combined their wind-tunnel expertise in order to put the Cerebel through the paces at angles simulating everything from pure, tucked speed to the dynamic body positions and the much more varied yaw angles of time trials that aren't performed on pan-flat courses with a perfectly stationary rider. The result has done more than just impress the professionals at Cannondale-Garmin; it also netted a Eurobike Award for its innovative approach to all-purpose aerodynamics. Of course, for all the focus on going faster, POC is primarily in the business of making helmets that keep you safe during a head-to-anything collision. Toward this end, the Cerebel features an EPS liner with varying densities in order to absorb and dissipate impact forces. The Zeiss visor helps to avoid any impact at all with a tint that highlights any changes or irregularities in the road surface by increasing contrast. The visor itself relies on magnetic attachment points for its own security.
